Join MPAThe Maryland Psychological Association (MPA) is the membership association for psychologists, psych associates, and other mental health professionals. If you submit your application now your membership will be good through August 31, 2024. All members will get a notice of due renewal in June 2024, before their membership expires on August 31, 2024. Non-Resident Affiliate category available for licensed psychologists who are not licensed in Maryland. Associate & AffiliatesAssociate: At least two years of graduate work or a Master's degree that is psychological in nature. Registered Psych Associates should use this category. Affiliate: Legitimate professional, educational or scientific interest in the field of psychology and who may not be eligible for any other level of membership, e.g. secondary school psychology teachers. Non-Resident Affiliate: If you fit any of the above categories but don't live or provide psychological services in Maryland, you may choose to apply for Non-Resident Affiliate status. The recommended option for psychologists who live either in our neighboring state or other PsyPact participating states. Graduate Students (MPAGS)Students who are matriculated as psychology graduate students in a regionally accredited college or university, and interns or post-doctoral fellows may apply for student membership. |
